Dr JD Mukherji has more than 34 years of medical experience out of which more than 24 years have been spent in the field of Neurology. He is Senior Director of Neurology at Max Hospital for the last 14 years after spending 23 years with the Indian Army Medical Services.
In his long career spanning over 3 decades Dr Mukherji has made yeomen contribution in advancing the frontiers of Neurology in India. He has done pioneering work in the field of Multiple Sclerosis and has been a teacher to many of the current Neurologists in India.
Dr JD Mukherji did his Medical Graduation in the year 1983 from the Sambalpur University, Orissa before joining the Bangalore University for doing MD in Internal Medicine. He passed out in the year 1990 and then joined the prestigious PGI, Chandigarh for doing DM in Neurology which he completed in the year 1995.
Armed with the best qualifications from reputed institutes, Dr Mukherji spent close to 10 years more with the Indian Army before joining the Max Hospital at New Delhi. Dr Mukherji has trained at Switzerland in the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and has several publications in national and international journals to his credit.
